This the idea of this post came after I had a discovery call with a guy I met on LinkedIn. The truth is, it\u2019s bloody hard work to find funding and most creatives want to run for the hills at the very thought of trying to finance their creative efforts. Hopefully some of these suggestions might strike a chord and offer you inspiration and hope!<\/p>\n

Ed, a client of mine wanted to publish a fully illustrated book featuring artwork by gay men. The project was a first for Ed and he set about fulfilling his dream by launching a Kichtstarter fund raising campaign where he raise an astonishing $68K. The book, A Gay Man was launched this month.<\/p>\n

Connect with other professionals, including fellow creatives, who may require your skills in exchange for their services or products. Bartering can help you save money and access resources you might not afford otherwise. It’s a win-win for both parties involved.<\/p>\n
